Tahya Misr Multi-Purpose Terminal – Alexandria Port

Owner: Alexandria Port Authority

Main Contractor: Egyptian Group for Multi-Purpose Terminals (EGMPT) – Al-GhArabli / EDECS.
Dewatering sub-contractor: SCRETE.
Scope: Temporary dewatering was required to control high groundwater levels during coastal excavations and yard formation works.
Start Date: March 2020.

Tahya Misr 1 Container Terminal – Damietta Port

Owner: Damietta Port Authority

Main Contractor: The Arab Contractors & Archirodon.
Dewatering sub-contractor: SCRETE.
Scope: Groundwater dewatering was necessary to maintain dry conditions during large-scale excavations and quay-side civil works.
Start Date: 2021.

Residential Developments

Bashteel Railway Station – Giza

Owner: Railway Authority

Main Contractor: Hassan Allam Construction.
Dewatering sub-contractor: SCRETE.
Scope: Dewatering was required during foundation and underground works to control groundwater in an urban environment.
Start Date: August 2020.

Infrastructure Development

Alamein Downtown Towers – New Alamein

Owner: NUCA

Main Contractor: China State Construction Engineering Corp. (CSCEC).
Dewatering sub-contractor: SCRETE.
Scope: Temporary dewatering was required for deep basement excavations in coastal soil conditions with elevated groundwater levels.
Start Date: June 2021.

Infrastructure Development

El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant – El Dabaa

Owner: NPPA – Egypt

Main Contractor / EPC: Rosatom State Corp. (Russia).
Dewatering sub-contractor: SCRETE.
Scope: Controlled dewatering was required during large-scale foundation excavations in a coastal high-groundwater environment.
Start Date: July 2022.

Ain Sokhna Container Terminal

Owner: Red Sea Container Terminals (RSCT)

Main Contractor: EDECS (Engineering & Construction).
Dewatering sub-contractor: SCRETE.
Scope: Dewatering works were required to control groundwater during port civil works and yard excavations in reclaimed soils.
